Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Executing line management responsibilities for a chapter of 15 Subject Matter Experts and Quality Assurance Engineers
  • Ensuring extension of competence/knowledge sharing within the chapter
  • Setting standards concerning the knowledge area within the chapter
  • Driving the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of standards (e.g. systems, processes and tools) to foster productivity
  • Establishing communities of practice or similar approaches to foster collaboration
  • Guaranteeing adherence to compliance requirements by using standards
  • Ensuring suitable staffing within the product development organisation
  • Driving the hiring and promotion of chapter members (internal/external) in collaboration with the direct leader
  • Acting as a servant leader
  • Managing the chapter budget (e.g. organising new equipment, training expenses, events) in collaboration with the Subject Matter Experts and the Cluster Lead
  • Acting as a change agent by driving transformation (into a scaled product organisation) on a chapter level

 

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in an agile set-up
  • Experience with applying agile frameworks in a scaled environment and/or certified in a scaled agile framework
  • Excellent understanding of leadership principles for agile teams
  • Willingness to enable personal development of chapter members
  • Mentoring/coaching skills
  • Excellent networking skills
  • Experience in collaboration with vendors and external resources
  • 3+ years of experience in an international work environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, listening skills and empathy
  • Business-fluent German skills
  • Very good English language skills (C1 – C2 level)
