YOUR JOB
- Supporting the Quality & Buying department and working closely with the design department to develop specification requirements/product attributes and performing technical engineering for electrical household and DIY products
- Individually analysing products with the aim of achieving technological product improvements in the areas of functionality, materials and manufacturing process
- Collaboratively supporting the engineering process and ensuring the technical implementation in coordination with suppliers, factories and internal stakeholders
- Communicating with our international partners, including cooperating with suppliers and production facilities
- Developing products as well as optimising existing ones
- Establishing benchmarking processes and working with inhouse testing (IHT) to incorporate knowledge of benchmarking analyses into IHT procedures
- Developing, implementing and documenting processes
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree or apprenticeship in the area of industrial design
- Ideally initial experience in quality assurance/product design or a similar area of responsibility
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and ideally knowledge of SAP
- Excellent organisational skills as well as a high level of independence and high commitment
- Willingness to travel internationally and global way of thinking
- Enthusiasm for teamwork and good communication skills
- Professional fluency in English, first international experience is a plus
