Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Providing and making decisions regarding the tech stack to enable and facilitate continuous test automation 
• Identifying common test patterns, defining test templates and proactively driving the creation and extension of test automation 
• Implementing and monitoring automated test cases according to specifications 
• Executing manual test cases according to the test plan 
• Analysing and documenting test results 
• Documenting defects using a defect management tool and providing supporting information for defect classification and resolution 
• Driving and improving test automation tools and methods

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• Profound knowledge of test methods and processes, ideally certified as an ISTQB® test automation engineer 
• Two or more years of experience in mobile app testing (manual and automation) 
• Well-experienced in automating test cases for iOS and Android applications and the usage of automation tools: XCUI and/or Android Espresso 
• Experienced in working with object-oriented languages (e.g. Swift, Java/Kotlin) 
• Experience with Cucumber testing framework 
• General understanding of software development and development infrastructures 
• Experience in Python would be beneficial 
• Experience working in virtually distributed teams, ideally in an agile team setup (Scrum) 
• Ability to work both in a team and independently 
• Very good English language skills
