What this role looks like.
- Collaborating with Supply Chain Management teams globally to analyse business use cases and tailor IT solutions to fit the procurement processes practiced in each ALDI national business entity
- Coordinating communication, training and testing of new supply chain processes and enhancements to the ERP Core system
- Monitoring the status of supply chain projects and enhancements
- Establishing best practices for the areas of international inbound, domestic inbound, hub based procurement and site-to-site transfer
- Assisting Upper Supply Chain Integration projects from a purchasing and goods movement perspective to bring the vision for the target supply chain to life
- Managing demands from idea conception to deployment in the system while coordinating with stakeholders from end to end
- Liaising with the Transportation Management team to ensure proper business integration with purchasing and supply chain processes
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
- Background in supply chain, logistics or business highly advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Internal drive for results; ability to persevere in the face of roadblocks
- Strategic mindset
- Strong leadership skills; ability to thrive on autonomy, drive team culture and recognise that the success of the whole is greater than the success of the individual product
Desirable extras.
- Background in freight procurement, Transporeon or other related products
