Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Defining an ambitious and clear product vision and ensuring effective communication of the “story” to key stakeholders and the entire team
  • Strategically collaborating with management and end users
  • Assuming responsibility for the end-to-end product strategy and developing the solution together with the team and key stakeholders
  • Continuously improving the backlog by applying systemic thinking
  • Ensuring a customer-centric design, taking into account user pain points and usability test results
  • Defining sprint goals and helping to plan sprint and release activities
  • Regularly participating in sprint events to guide product development
     

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • Degree with a focus on business administration or computer science, or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience as a Product Owner
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant specialist areas (preferably with expertise in a particular area, e.g. stores, finance, HR or buying) as well as industry trends, user requirements and pain points
  • Ability to develop a high-quality product vision
  • An affinity for technology and the ability to participate in discussions with developers to understand and represent both the needs of the business department and technical requirements
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive solutions and progress
  • Strong analytical skills to aid in creating user stories
  • Excellent communication skills and professional fluency in English

 

Desirable extras.

  • Experience in managing external partners
  • Several years of leadership experience and/or project experience related to data analytics 
  • Several years of professional experience in the retail sector
