Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Managing the internal and external Checkmk teams to implement monitoring requirements for technologies such as operating systems, hardware, databases, virtualisation and cloud service applications
  • Planning, coordinating, implementing and reporting on project timelines 
  • Prioritising requirements and approving monitoring implementations and architectures
  • Advising internal customers and colleagues on ensuring high-quality and efficient monitoring
  • Ensuring full Checkmk IT service delivery in line with SLAs and project timelines
  • Actively further developing and optimising tools, processes and structures

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • A successfully completed degree (preferably with a focus on information technology or business administration)
  • Proven track record as a product manager/owner or similar role for Checkmk or comparable monitoring tools
  • In-depth experience in implementing and managing Checkmk in a complex and large-scale/global environment
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering high-quality products on time
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable concepts and user stories
  • Strong technical understanding of IT Infrastructure, infrastructure as code or automation
  • In-depth experience in technologies, e.g. Checkmk up to versions 2.2 and 2.3, Ansible, Linux (CentOS, Redhat), Gitlab, Azure
  • Good communication skills in German and English, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams
