What this role looks like.
- Working closely with Product Owners and Service Experts to oversee demands, changes, (major) incidents, problems, risks, and knowledge management from a service-specific point of view to ensure consistency and leverage synergies with regards to the overall operations approach
- Identifying risks that influence the operational stability of the product, recognising potential for improvement and suggesting corrective measures to the Product Owner and product team
- Enhancing transparency on code deficit and ensuring it is resolved on a regular basis to avoid possible product quality issues
- Acting as the first point of contact for operational stability and improvement topics, participating in communities of practice or chapter events, and collaborating with the Operations Chapter to develop and implement proactive measures to prevent service disruptions and enhance system stability
- Engaging with stakeholders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT Services, reporting regularly on service metrics and performance against targets
- Bringing expertise of ITSM methods to the product team
- Contributing to the development of training materials and mentoring junior team members to foster their growth and proficiency
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
- Good understanding of ITSM processes and best practices
- General understanding of enterprise class IT architecture and system landscapes
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL frameworks, especially service transition and service operation practices
- Excellent risk analysis and risk assessment skills
- Expertise in and practical knowledge of operations and maintenance concepts, tools (ServiceNow and Jira) and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
