The SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Center team is focused on providing a stable SAP BTP environment and developing value-added apps on the SAP Business Technology Platform with UX standardization in mind.
Your Job
What this role looks like.
- Providing guidance and support to product delivery teams in implementing and improving service management processes
- Leading the design, implementation, and configuration of SAP BTP IT Service Management solutions together with the SAP BTP IT Service Owners into an agile environment
- Supporting the resolution of complex technical issues related to SAP BTP services, collaborating with internal teams and external partners/vendors as needed
- Developing and implementing proactive measures together with the Operations-Chapter to prevent service disruptions and improve system stability
- Staying updated on the latest SAP BTP ITSM developments, best practices, and industry trends
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for SAP BTP services, regularly reporting on service metrics and performance against targets
- Contributing to the development of training materials and providing mentoring to junior team members to foster their growth and proficiency in SAP BTP service operations
- Working closely with IT Service Owners and Service Experts to manage demands,changes, incidents, problems, risks, and knowledge-management from a service-specific point of view in order to ensure consistency and leverage synergies with regards to the overall operations approach
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
- General Understanding of ITSM
- Process affinity
- Knowledge of ITIL and understanding of ITSM best practices (e.g. ITIL V2-4, Cobit)
- Ability to facilitate meetings and drive alignment among multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work closely with technical experts and guide them on the technical part of ITSM solutions to be created
- Guiding and coaching skills
- Fluency in english
Desirable extras.
- Technical expertise of specific standard software platform (i.e. SAP, BTP)
- German language skills
- Strong interest in cloud development
