Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Managing service onboarding and decommissioning as well as changes and transitions throughout the service life cycle
  • Planning and coordinating global service transition activities based on checklists (templates) as well as creating status reports (milestones) prior to commissioning services
  • Coordinating, monitoring and validating relevant ITSM activities for the introduction of new and the adaptation of existing IT services (e.g. training progress, developing support functions, etc.)
  • Providing support and advice to IT service owners in planning, managing and implementing IT service transition activities
  • Assuming responsibility for continuous improvement by liaising with relevant stakeholders involved in the ITSM process (e.g. Service Desk, Incident Management, etc.) and considering relevant projects

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • Degree in business administration, information technology or engineering or a comparable qualification (apprenticeship) with relevant professional experience
  • Assertive and sociable team player with strong communication skills
  • Flexibility, commitment and ability to communicate diplomatically
  • Structured and independent working style as well as very good German and English language skills

 

Desirable extras.

  • Experience in IT service management (e.g. in a transition manager role)
  • ITIL knowledge (e.g. ITIL 4 Foundation)
  • Initial professional experience in IT project management
