Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Operating and further developing an international backup infrastructure based on Veeam Data Platform and its underlying hardware
• Advising internal customers regarding the definition and implementation of a backup strategy and recovery concept
• Maintaining and updating backup and recovery policies and process descriptions
• Assuming the role of technical manager for an external service provider for operational tasks
• Ensuring compliance with requirements for backup processes managed by external service providers
• Planning budgets and capacities

Your Profile

What you bring with you

• Academic degree or similar qualification (apprenticeship) with a focus on IT
• Experience in the administration of backup solutions (hardware and software)
• Experience in the area of cloud-based services (e.g. Azure/GCP/AWS)
• Basic knowledge of Azure Backup, network technologies and operating and storage systems
• Strong communication skills and powers of persuasion, intercultural understanding and fluency in English
• Willingness to develop yourself further
