The Stores area creates the technical basis for efficient store processes by using the latest technologies. Our customers will be able to see the results of your work first-hand in all ALDI SOUTH stores worldwide. Our processes are increasingly moving to mobile devices to provide store associates with the most up-to-date hardware and software support. To facilitate this strategic focus, we are continually expanding our current team of experts. 

Your Job

What you give your best for.

• Working in an international team as the contact person with regard to one product for all ALDI SOUTH countries
• Contributing to a product as the expert for one or more fields of knowledge and expertise within the area of large-volume databases that store receipts from all ALDI SOUTH locations
• Contributing to the design, implementation, configuration, testing and use of the product
• Ensuring stable operations and acting as third-level support when it comes to incidents
• Creating reports for selected target groups and supporting the integration of national applications

Your Profile

What you should have.

• In-depth knowledge and experience within the area of MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Agile mindset and the ability to work in agile environments and product teams
• Basic understanding of the end-to-end software and product development process
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills
• Experience in the use of problem-solving tools and techniques
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with international stakeholders
• Very good intercultural skills
• Professional proficiency in English 

Desirable extras.

• Experience in creating PowerShell scripts
