Within the scope of transnational projects, our experts develop IT solutions for worldwide deployment at ALDI SOUTH.

Our International IT Procurement department (IITP) is responsible for procuring all goods and services related to IT (hardware, software and IT services). The central, globally integrated department is divided into two main areas: Strategic IT Procurement and Vendor Management. These are strategically supported by the IT Procurement Operations and Software Asset Management teams.

We are expanding our Vendor Governance & Analytics team and are looking for ambitious employees to join ALDI International Services. Our areas of responsibility include the governance of our IT vendors and the key performance indicators (KPIs) for International IT Procurement. Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Further developing IT vendor management
  • Assuming responsibility for agile process optimisation and concept development
  • Managing and classifying the IT vendor portfolio
  • Optimising IT vendor management tools
  • Advising stakeholders on processes and policies
  • Analysing and monitoring key figures
  • Developing and implementing global standards 
  • Ensuring compliance in relationships with IT vendors

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • Degree or apprenticeship with a focus on IT or business administration
  • Experience in vendor relationship management or IT procurement
  • Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Structured and conceptual thinking skills, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Assertiveness and ability to communicate diplomatically
  • Business fluency in German and/or English

 

Desirable extras.

  • Project management experience
  • Understanding of agility and taking a solution-oriented approach
