Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Designing, sharing and further developing our comprehensive and innovative supply chain application landscape 
• Understanding the status quo of our current capabilities and application landscape to identify and prioritise architectural improvement opportunities 
• Aligning on and introducing strategic direction, guardrails and an implementation roadmap for our supply chain ecosystem (mainly SAP, Manhattan) 
• Driving innovation by identifying and integrating emerging technologies (e.g. IoT, AI and ML) into the supply chain ecosystem to improve efficiency and transparency  
• Defining and establishing business, application and technology architecture standards and strategies 
• Working closely with solution and enterprise architects to implement guardrails by improving existing decision trees and creating new ones 
• Ensuring high quality architecture documentation (various artefacts) 

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• University degree in IT or an equivalent qualification 
• Several years of professional experience as an enterprise architect 
• Expert knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes, in particular relevant technology and its optimal use 
• Expert knowledge of key retail and logistics-specific SAP solutions (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, SAP CAR, SAP F&R, SAP TM as well as SAP and Manhattan WMS solutions) 
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively at all hierarchical levels 
• Strategic and architectural mindset
• A team player with a proactive approach to problem solving 
• Very good English language skills, both written and spoken

Nice to have. 

• Good understanding of LeanIX and Signavio 
• Knowledge of robotic process automation (RPA) and its use within supply chain processes 
• Experience with cloud-based supply chain solutions (e.g. SAP BTP, hyperscale platforms) to enable scalability and agility 
• Knowledge of or certified in TOGAF®, SAFe etc.
