Introduction

In the Sustainability Product Line within ALDI SOUTH, we enable ALDI’s Global Sustainability Strategy with common data, integrated processes and the right technology.

Our focus is on securing compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as well as driving ALDI’s ambition to make sustainability affordable to our customers.

Your Job

What you give your best for.

  • Analysing, creating and extending existing or new test cases to ensure the testability of existing and new requirements in a sustainable environment 
  • Contributing your QA expertise and perspective to designing and refining requirements
  • Developing solutions that you coordinate with the product teams, developers and specialist departments to achieve the best possible result
  • Applying your experience in defect management to analyse, track and resolve potential defects in close collaboration with developers and implementation partners
  • Advising and coaching your team to continuously develop and improve QA measures 
  • Participating in the planning and execution of central SIT and UAT tests
  • Working together with the Centres of Excellence (CoE) for Quality Assurance and Testing on expanding and adapting our test rooms and infrastructure 
  • Automating existing test cases to make our processes even more efficient

Your Profile

What you should have.

  • Professional experience as a test engineer, tester, test manager, defect manager or similar, preferably in an agile environment
  • Experience with agile testing methods and standardised test methods (e.g. ISTQB)
  • Agile mindset, persuasiveness and strong communication skills   
  • Very good presentation, moderation and communication skills 
  • Interest in implementing sustainable solutions
  • Fluency in English and experience working in international teams
