Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Advancing the defect management process by working on various projects together with different teams
• Acting as a facilitator in defect triage meetings and resolution calls on a daily basis in cooperation with external service providers, test teams and project and business representatives
• Recognising connections and dependencies between defects across teams and solving them based on a growing understanding of the ALDI IT landscape
• Following up on defects and managing service providers and ALDI colleagues up to the point of resolving defects
• Processing statistics and KPIs, providing regular status updates and explaining the software quality in stage gate meetings as the basis for go/no-go decisions
• Analysing defect data, supporting project managers with targeted fact-based statements on the software quality and further developing reports
• Helping to optimise processes continuously beyond the scope of defect management

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• University degree or apprenticeship with a focus on IT or project management
• Excellent coordination skills and a high level of assertiveness
• Professional experience in test management and/or defect management
• Team spirit and strong communication skills together with an analytical and conceptual working style
• Very good English language skills
• Outgoing, reliable, thorough

Desirable extras.

• Functional knowledge of retailing or logistics, as well as technical knowledge of SAP landscapes, is an advantage
• Certification such as ISTQB is an advantage
