Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Lead the development, testing, and operation of a data transformation application utilizing SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) and Azure Cosmos DB within a global middleware product
• Collaborate closely with the cell architect to enhance architecture, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Ensure adherence to technical standards and operational requirements
• Actively participate in an agile, self-organized team environment

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• University degree in Information Technology or in a related field
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and Gitlab
• Demonstrated experience in Data Transformation development, particularly in SAP CAP with HANA Cloud DB and beneficially in Azure Cosmos DB
• Familiarity with core data services (CDS) for setting up OData services in SAP CAP
• Deep understanding of database design principles and operations
• Profound knowledge in Jira and Confluence
• Proficiency in DB Explorer and SQL query for troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and persuasiveness
• Fluency in English (C-level)

Desirable extras.

• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD automation
• Proficiency in writing and implementing automated tests
• Knowledge of DB monitoring tools for HANA Cloud DB, Node.js and Cosmos DB
• Understanding of background jobs and procedures
• Experience in upgrading SAP CAP and Node.js versions
• Exposure to complex IT architecture in a global setting
• Agile methodology skills
