Your Job
What this role looks like.
- Collaborating with Supply Chain Management teams (e.g. Contract & Tendering, Warehouse/Transport Management) to analyse and refine business requirements to build sustainable and seamless solutions that adhere to ALDI’s global template
- Managing requirements from idea conception to go-live
- Transforming business change requests in the procurement and demand fulfilment areas into detailed requirement specifications for our technology team
- Driving change management initiatives by creating training materials (e.g. functional descriptions, process documentation and workaround documentation)
- Providing training sessions to global stakeholders on new solutions and business processes to promote user adoption
- Supporting quality assurance initiatives by defining and reviewing test cases as well as independently testing enhancements related to new supply chain business processes on ALDI’s ERP core system
- Taking ownership of work packages and project deliverables while identifying risks that hinder a successful implementation
- Representing the business domain in design workshops to ensure that the global template guidelines are adhered to and identify capability gaps
- Documenting processes according to established principles, keeping documentation current and relevant to reflect changes in the business environment
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
- At least two years’ professional experience in supply chain management, specifically procurement and demand fulfilment
- Experience working in project environments
- Understanding of a typical project life cycle from requirements definition to go-live
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work in agile team configurations that require continuous, close collaboration with multiple key project stakeholders
- Familiarity with creating and delivering presentations to large groups
- Professional fluency in English
Desirable extras:
- Proficiency in SAP S/4, SAP IS Retail or SAP MM
- Degree in supply chain management or related fields
- Profound understanding of process optimisation (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt)
- Experience in requirements engineering
