The Stores area creates the technical basis for efficient store processes by using the latest technologies. Our customers will be able to see the results of your work first-hand in all ALDI SOUTH stores worldwide. Our processes are increasingly moving to mobile devices to provide store associates with the most up-to-date hardware and software support. To facilitate this strategic focus, we are continually expanding our current team of experts. 

Your Job

What you give your best for.

  • Analysing checkout processes in stores as well as collaborating with the product team and product owner to identify requirements for improvement
  • Working closely with the product owner to translate business needs into detailed specifications and user stories for checkout processes
  • Identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency at the checkout and developing strategies to streamline operations
  • Managing the prioritisation of checkout-related tasks in the product backlog and driving the demand management process
  • Taking ownership of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to checkout operations
  • Reviewing and validating checkout process enhancements from development to rollout in coordination with the product team
  • Leading and participating in initiatives to optimise the checkout process within the designated area of responsibility
  • Defining and developing the criteria (“Definition of Done”) for successful completion of checkout-related tasks 

 
 

Your Profile

What you should have.

  • Strong analytical and strategic skills with a background in requirement analysis
  • Proficiency in requirement-gathering techniques, such as user stories and use cases
  • Experience working as part of an Agile team, with the ability to adapt to new environments
  • Effective communication skills tailored to various stakeholders and a good understanding of intercultural dynamics
  • Proficiency in English

 

Desirable extras.

  • Basic knowledge of process optimisation methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt)
