Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Working together with the product team on an integrated SAP S/4HANA system, focusing on the FI module and its integration with other SAP modules, stores and supply chain systems 
• Analysing business processes in merchandise accounting and advising the product team on process improvements, striving for global harmonisation 
• Collaborating with the product owner, product team members, users and other stakeholders to understand and refine product requirements, update specifications and determine definition of done criteria
• Driving the demand management process and evaluating priorities in the product backlog, as well as reviewing and validating product increments from development through to rollout 
• Managing external system integrators and interacting with system users directly
• Supporting projects to improve postings integrated in SAP MM/TM and SAP Finance-to-Manage processes, enabling granular data insights for decision making at the article, store or region level 

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• Very good knowledge of accounting processes in a retail environment, preferably with specific expertise in merchandise accounting 
• Experience with SAP FI/CO, especially processes and transactions related to stores and supply chain processes, including the associated posting procedures 
• Agile mindset and the ability to work in agile environments and product teams 
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills with experience in requirement analysis 
• Knowledge of requirement gathering techniques, such as user stories and use cases 
• Ability to communicate effectively with various target groups
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders (business and technical), knowledge of German is a plus 

Desirable extras.

• Experience in SAP FI-MM (Materials Management) or SAP FI-SD (Sales and Distribution) 
• Knowledge of concepts such as moving average price and contribution margin reporting 
• Very good intercultural skills
