Your Job
What this role looks like.
- Discovering business needs, analysing business processes and advising the product team and product owner on the resulting requirements
- Working hand in hand with the product owner to translate business requirements into specifications and user stories
- Identifying areas of improvement and developing strategies to increase efficiency
- Driving the strategy to value process and evaluating priorities in the product backlog
- Working closely together with the product team to review and validate product increments from development to rollout
- Driving and contributing to process optimisation initiatives at the product level in your area of responsibility
- Developing the definition of done (DoD)
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
- Three to five years of experience in a business analyst role, ideally within an SaaS environment or related field
- In-depth understanding of IT controlling, transfer pricing (cross charging) and financial management reporting business processes
- Experience in working within agile environments and with agile/scrum methodologies Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, detailed technical specifications, such as user stories and business use cases
- Proactive in identifying issues and developing solutions, driving resolution in a collaborative manner
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English, capable of conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Hands-on experience with Apptio products, particularly in implementing or supporting technology business management (TBM) solutions
Desirable extras.
- Strong understanding of IT financial management and cost optimisation practices
- Experience in creating user stories, process flows, and comprehensive documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
- Profound understanding of the following financial terms: IT spending (Opex and Capex expenditure), general ledger, postings, accounting methods, forecast, budget, 5 year planning and true-up
- Certifications in Apptio TBM, agile methodologies and business analysis
