Within the scope of transnational projects, our experts develop IT solutions for worldwide deployment at ALDI SOUTH. The central “DevOps Platform” provides colleagues from the software and infrastructure development teams with the tools they need to develop targeted solutions based on standard platforms. This covers the entire stack from source code management, CI/CD infrastructure and templates for secure development through to artefact management. 

Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Being an integral part of an agile DevOps product team
• Designing, implementing, running and further developing DevSecOps tools
• Supporting developer teams in the areas of cloud, pipeline and application security
• Providing support in developing the architecture of a cloud-based DevSecOps platform
• Implementing and managing services in Kubernetes or on a SaaS basis
• Developing state-of-the-art DevSecOps pipelines 
• Developing reference implementations for application security tool deployment
• Assisting in the management of external partners (manufacturers and service providers)

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• University degree or completed apprenticeship with a focus on information technology
• Expertise in application security and cloud security
• Several years of experience in secure software development
• Knowledge of DevSecOps as methodology, culture and tool stack
• Broad understanding and extensive knowledge of cybersecurity
• Experience in using tools for secure software development (e.g. SAST, DAST, SCA)
• Strong communication skills and persuasiveness as well as fluency in English and German

Desirable extras.

• Practical experience in using different programming languages is desirable
• Practical experience in software test engineering is an advantage
• Hands-on experience as a DevOps engineer is an advantage
• Practical experience in penetration testing is an advantage
• Basic understanding of cloud and container topics is desirable
