Introduction

In the Sustainability Product Line within ALDI SOUTH, we enable ALDI’s Global Sustainability Strategy with common data, integrated processes and the right technology.

Our focus is on securing compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as well as driving ALDI’s ambition to make sustainability affordable to our customers.

Your Job

What you give your best for.

• Acting as an in-house consultant and providing ad-hoc analyses/concepts related to strategic IT sustainability topics relevant in the industry
• Shaping the future set-up and processes of our international IT sustainability in alignment with legislative requirements and ALDI’s overarching ambitions
• Coordinating and supporting the implementation of strategic projects and initiatives, adding to ALDI’s sustainability goals
• Ensuring coordination of sustainability topics with regard to cross-departmental topics
• Collaborating with leaders and their respective teams to identify, prioritise and steer strategic sustainability initiatives within ALDI’s international services
• Answering strategic and operative questions and acting as an interface between national and international departments
• Preparing and coordinating international senior management meetings for the department lead

Your Profile

What you should have.

• Degree in business administration, business informatics or comparable qualification
• Outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders
• Analytical thinking and the ability to process complex information
• Independent and proactive approach to tasks
• Flexibility, willingness to change and shape concepts and ideas
• Very good spoken and written German and English language skills

Desirable extras.

• Several years of professional experience in the area of sustainability, ideally with a focus on IT
• Experience in strategy or management consulting 
• Familiarity with agile working methods is an advantage
