Your Job

What you give your best for.

  • Assuming responsibility for the technical development of our self-checkout application, which is used in over 7,300 stores worldwide 
  • Supporting innovative projects for new IT solutions to further develop and optimise the customer experience in our stores 
  • Analysing, designing and implementing new requirements together with our international stakeholders and as part of an agile product and development team  
  • Providing technical support to ensure smooth operation of the application in our stores and implementing technical solutions for any issues that arise
  • Acting as an international contact person for technical questions about the application and serving as an interface between the business and external service providers/developers 
  • Promoting innovative ideas with state-of-the-art solutions in mind 
     

Your Profile

What you should have.

  • Degree or similar qualification (apprenticeship) with a focus on business or IT 
  • Enthusiasm for store and checkout solutions 
  • Initial experience with agile development methods 
  • Practical experience in requirements management and initial experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence  
  • Structured and analytical way of working  
  • Ability to work in a team, personal initiative and motivation for further development  
  • Fluent knowledge of English (spoken and written) 

 

Desirable extras.

  • Interest in the technical processing and resolution of complex incidents from store operations (3rd level support) is desirable
