Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Acting as line manager and coach of a team of experienced Test Managers of the Test Centre of Expertise (TCoE)
• Assuming responsibility for providing test management, defect management, regression testing and test data management in projects and international releases
• Conducting resource planning and management as well as assigning employees to IT projects
• Defining, implementing and monitoring test processes within the scope of our global digital transformation process
• Further developing test strategies and processes in interdisciplinary cooperation with other TCoE teams, IT and business teams, country representatives and system integrators
• Developing and communicating test principles and standards
• Providing advice and coaching for IT programs and projects in questions relating to IT quality assurance
• Expanding the TCoE, both in terms of staff and with regard to methods, processes, tools and organisational structure
• Assuming responsibility for the further development and career planning of your own employees
• Representing the TCoE in decision-making bodies
• Conducting budget planning and monitoring for your own team and own projects
• Sourcing and managing external service providers, if needed

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• Degree with a focus on IT or project management
• Experience in managing and developing employees and teams as well as managing external system integration partners
• Extensive professional experience and methodical knowledge in the area of test management
• Intercultural skills as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Knowledge of SAP landscapes is an advantage (e.g. S4/HANA, TM, CAR, Ariba)
• ISTQB certification or similar is desirable
• Fluency in English
