About the position 

The Stores area develops, optimises and manages our IT store systems worldwide. The Stores Management Office is responsible for all interdisciplinary tasks in the STORES area and is currently being set up. 
We are looking for a Vendor Manager in the Management Office who will work in close cooperation with Central Vendor Management and ensure the IT Vendor Governance activities in their own area of responsibility. The close cooperation with the team and project managers in the STORES area is intended to enable the coordination and prioritisation and thus harmonisation of the contract award process. Contract performance and the service delivered are to be monitored centrally by this role and reported to the relevant IT Service Owners and other stakeholders.

<h3 class="jd">Your Tasks</h3>

  • Take on the vacant “Vendor Manager” position in the STORES Management Office and act as the central, initial point of contact for IT Service Owners or stakeholders
  • Assist, advise, monitor and report to relevant IT Service Owners and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with the IT Vendor Governance Framework
  • Participate in regular team/project meetings in the STORES area as well as overarching discussions with Central Vendor Management and the Governance Board on behalf of International IT
  • Gather information on contract/service performance and analyse this information together with the IT Service Owners or stakeholders
  • Help prepare all contractual changes and accompany the implementation, providing corresponding status reports to the stakeholders
  • Check and report any deviations in the invoicing process with vendors and introduce quality assurance measures where necessary

<h3 class="jq">Your Profile</h3>

  • A degree with a focus on information technology or business administration
  • Experience in vendor relationship management or IT buying
  • You have very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (e.g. Pivot) and PowerPoint
  • You have gained experience in analysing and preparing data as well as providing reports
  • You take a solution-oriented approach and understand the agile concept (Scrum)
  • You stand out for your ability to think in a structured and conceptual way as well as act independently
  • You are fluent in English
