Your Job

What this role looks like

• Representing worldwide Logistics interests by participating in working groups alongside external consultancies, internal IT teams and with colleagues from around the world
• Acting as a single point of contract (SPOC) to promote a collaborative way of working across national and international departments
• Supporting the rollout od our transportation solutions to our sites worldwide
• Analysing the outcomes of existing transportation optimisations and identifying opportunities for enhancing our future strategy 
• Driving the innovation of our IT solutions through the addition of new functionalities and processes, with the understanding that standardization across the ALDI SOUTH world is of paramount importance 
• Assessing requests and demands from international stakeholders

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• Ideally, practical understanding and experience in logistics and transportation planning , including: 
• Supplier to DC & International or domestic movements
• DC to Store locations & outbound movements
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Microsoft 365 Office Suite, Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, SharePoint)
• Ideally, previous experience with SAP Software (SAP F&R, SAP CAR, SAP S4/HANA)
• Degree in Business welcomed, however not required 
• Ability to adjust quickly to fast-spaced project environment
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Excellent level of English, ability to speak German preferred
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and put newly acquired knowledge into practice quickly 
• Willingness to travel (locations may include US, UK, Continental EU; AUS
