This position is initially fixed term for a period of two years.
 

Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Translating business documents from German into English and English into German
• Proofreading and post-editing documents in English and German from various areas, such as IT, buying, logistics, finance, law
• Simultaneously interpreting in both directions between German and English at internal events and meetings, both remote and on-site
• Helping to maintain our internal terminology database
• Supporting the further development of our internal processes and language service portfolio

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• University degree in translation/interpreting/foreign languages or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in translation in a similar area
• Several years of professional experience in interpreting (ideally simultaneously)
• Native speaker of English and fluent level of German
• Experience using translation memory systems 
• Committed and sociable team player with excellent communication skills
• Reliable, independent and autonomous work approach
