Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Defining and implementing automation strategies for various software projects, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals
• Writing and maintaining automated test scripts across multiple environments to ensure smooth functionality on different platforms
• Designing and parameterising automation scripts for flexibility and reusability across diverse environments and data sets
• Reviewing and optimising existing automation frameworks and scripts to enhance performance, reliability and test coverage
• Collaborating with product owners and project managers to prioritise automated tests based on risk factors and business impact
• Generating reports on test coverage, pass/fail rates and the performance of automated test cases to provide key quality metrics to stakeholders
• Ensuring that all test cases, scripts and results are linked to user stories or requirements, guaranteeing complete traceability throughout the testing process

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• Completed university degree or apprenticeship
• A few years of experience in automation testing/test analysis/QA with understanding of software testing methodologies, including initial experience with Tricentis Tosca 
• Familiarity with the software development and testing lifecycle (STLC/SDLC), ensuring a strong understanding of testing processes
• Experience with enterprise software applications (both SAP and non-SAP systems)
• Working knowledge of databases, such as MS SQL, DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Proficiency in English, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong intercultural competence and the ability to work effectively in diverse, global teams 

Desirable extras.

• Tricentis certifications, such as AS1, AS2, AE1 and TDS1, are highly desirable
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for seamless continuous testing would be an advantage
• Familiarity with traditional test automation and management tools, such as OpenText ALM, Tricentis qTest, Jira, Selenium or similar platforms
