Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Envisioning and communicating the future state of our large-scale, up-to-date SAP landscape and evolving it accordingly
  • Aligning and introducing the strategic direction, guardrails and implementation roadmap for our SAP ecosystem (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, BTP) and its technology evolution
  • Defining and establishing IT architecture standards and strategies
  • Increasing IT responsiveness and decreasing costs by driving consolidation, standardisation and reusability
  • Operationalising guardrails by enhancing existing decision trees and establishing new ones in strong collaboration with solution architects
  • Developing project plans with details of solution approaches, timelines and resource allocation

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • University degree in IT or an equivalent qualification
  • Expert knowledge of SAP portfolio; specifically, its technology portfolio and optimal usage (e.g. development) as well as usage within Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical and communication skills at various levels as well as organisational skills, with an eye for detail 
  • Strategic and architectural mindset
  • Good understanding of how business and IT work (big picture)
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Team orientation and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Fluent written and spoken English

 

 

Desirable extras.

  • Good understanding of LeanIX and Signavio
  • Platform knowledge of large hyperscalers is advantageous
  • Knowledge of/certified in TOGAF®, SAFe, etc.
