Your Job

What you give your best for.

• Working in an agile product or project team and assuming responsibility for the technical implementation of an integrated shelf and space planning solution
• Working closely with and advising the specialist departments on the feasibility of functional requirements and coordinating technical feasibility with the software provider
• Defining and managing the migration of the current store and shelf plans to the new software structure
• Supporting the global rollout of the integrated solution
• Providing long-term support for implemented solutions across the software lifecycle (e.g. requirements engineering, solutioning, testing, incident management) 
• Exploring the integration of our space planning solution into ALDI platforms

Your Profile

What you should have.

• Knowledge of one of the popular integrated software solutions for shelf and store planning (e.g. Nielsen IQ Spaceman, Relex, Blue Yonder)
• Experience in implementing and integrating SaaS solutions into existing IT landscapes
• Agile mindset and the ability to work in agile environments and product teams 
• Good communication skills as well as the ability to present complex issues in a simple and concise manner
• Solution-oriented working style and a quick grasp of complex challenges paired with an analytical and methodical approach
• Very good intercultural skills
• Professional fluency in English 
   

What is desirable. 

• Ideally, experience of working with Nielsen IQ Spaceman as a shelf space planning software and knowledge of the database structure 
• Knowledge of SAP and the integration of shelf planning systems with SAP IS-Retail, SAP F&R and SAP CAR
• German language skills are beneficial
