Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Managing, implementing and monitoring the entire buying process in the context of tenders for the procurement of software and the corresponding negotiations for the purchase price, conditions and contract
• Developing, implementing and supporting strategic buying projects and buying strategies to generate synergies and potential savings in the area of software
• Identifying and analysing software requirements in close cooperation with internal teams
• Independently managing contract negotiations with suppliers, including complex and challenging situations
• Consulting and working closely with departments, such as IT, Legal and Compliance, to ensure that all requirements are met, as well as consulting with (international) stakeholders

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• Successfully completed commercial or technical training, ideally with a focus on buying, IT or business
• Practical experience in strategic buying
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, even in challenging situations
• Motivation and ability to grasp new concepts quickly, as well as a high degree of initiative and flexibility 
• Pragmatic, stractured approach and a strong focus on problem-solving
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken 

Desirable extras.

• Professional experience in an international context or in a corporate environment 
• Basic knowledge of buying (IT and software)
