Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Drawing insights from our Customer Interaction Strategy team to understand the importance of new initiatives and the key drivers behind them when starting to design a new service 
  • Identifying key stakeholders within the project and ensuring requirements are captured, documented and incorporated into the overall vision of the service, in close collaboration with our ALDI countries
  • Designing and prototyping world-class services that blend digital, physical and human interactions across multiple touch points, smartly bringing together user needs, business goals and technical realities
  • Developing the overall service design, including customer experience/customer journeys, business rules, stage design and branding guidelines in alignment with the countries
  • Working with technical teams to determine the right solutions to realise the service vision and identifying process, equipment and automation requirements 
  • Gathering and agreeing on service operational metrics, assumptions and business requirements for relevant areas 

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • Ability to envision the overall service and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure complete delivery of the initiative 
  • Understanding and knowledge of the Service Design concept and worked in a Service Design team/role
  • Experience in the development of customer journeys and service blueprints 
  • Proficiency in workshop facilitation, excellent presentation and communication skills and a proactive work mindset
  • Thrives within a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage several projects at once 
  • Worked in agile team environments and the ability to encourage design thinking 


Desirable extras.

  • Utilising problem-solving skills as an integral part of driving projects forward (you’ll rely on them daily) 

  • Embracing responsibility for tasks and welcoming feedback as a means to constantly enhance results 

  • Experience working in digital-related projects or departments would be advantageous
