Your Job

What you give your best for.

• Managing the external offshore operations team for the data warehouse (DWH)
• Being responsible for incident and problem management as well as service management in line with ITIL
• Analysing incidents to identify their root causes (Oracle Exadata, Informatica, MicroStrategy)
• Designing solution scenarios for complex incidents
• Providing continuous improvement management and organising service improvement initiatives
• Regularly monitoring service quality
• Maintaining the knowledge base articles for first and second level support
• Taking responsibility for software lifecycle management as well as planning and organising upgrades
• Providing global user support and answering questions concerning system usage
• Setting up, defining and maintaining the monitoring and scheduling processes of these operations

Your Profile

What you should have.

• Degree or other qualification related to computer science
• Programming and scripting skills (Unix shell, Oracle PL/SQL)
• Several years of experience in operating data warehouses and knowledge of the ITIL standard
• Experience in managing offshore operational teams
• Experience in using ETL tools, especially Informatica: tool administration and performance optimisation
• Experience in dealing with performance problems in Oracle as well as analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the administration of front-end BI tools, especially MicroStrategy and/or Tableau
• Strong communication skills
