Your Job

What you give your best for.

  • Collaborating with business partners to develop novel ways to meet objectives utilizing cutting edge techniques and tools  
  • Communicating effectively the analytics approach and how it will meet and address objectives to business partners 
  • Advocating and educating on the value of data driven decision making focusing on the “how and why” of solving problems 
  • Leading analytic approaches, integrating work into applications and tools with data engineers, business leads, analysts, and developers 
  • Creating repeatable, interpretable, dynamic, and scalable analytical models that are seamlessly incorporated into analytic data products 
  • Engineering features to find new ways to combine disparate internal and external data sources 
  • Identifying and developing long-term processes, frameworks, tools, methods and standards 
  • Collaborating and coaching with a growing team of experienced Data Scientists and stays connected with external sources of ideas 

Your Profile

What you should have.

  • An academic background in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics 
  • Demonstrated a Data Science skill set and is proficient in Python or R, and writing complex SQL queries 
  • Proficient with Machine Learning to solve clustering, classification, regression, anomaly detection, simulation and optimization problems on large scale data sets 
  • Proven ability to merge and transform disparate internal & external data sets together to create new features  
  • Experience with Big Data technologies (preferably Azure stack) and with data visualization tools preferred, e.g., Tableau 
  • Experience with supporting deployment, monitoring, maintenance and enhancement of models desired 

 

What is desirable.

  • Experience with retail data models 
  • Experience with time series analysis, demand/sales forecasting 
  • Experience with data science use cases in supply chain or finance
