Within the scope of transnational projects, our teams develop IT solutions for worldwide use at ALDI SOUTH. As the Security & Infrastructure Management department, we establish comprehensive, current and future policies, standards and best practices for the worldwide security of our IT landscape. Security is particularly important to us as a service provider.

Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Acting as an interface between development, operation and security experts in our on-premises, private and public cloud environments
• Analysing, further developing and automating existing IT security measures
• Supporting (complex) IT projects as a central contact person for IT security
• Providing IT security measures through technology
• Promoting security awareness while complying with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Continuously reviewing technological developments and market trends with regards to security architecture

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• Successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with a focus on IT security
• Strong communication and persuasion skills, as well as a passion for constructive dialogue
• Extensive knowledge in the area of IT (infrastructure on premises as well as private and public clouds), e.g. through many years of IT administration
• Experience in setting up and operating IT security solutions
• Knowledge on various security technologies and levels as well as relevant professional experience in the protection of large company networks
• Knowledge on common rules and regulations relating to IT security (ISO 27001, NIST 800, GDPR etc.) and demands and security measures for critical infrastructure companies (KRITIS)
• Knowledge on current IT technologies, architectures and innovations including standards and products currently in use and their associated risks

Desirable extras.

• Knowledge in at least one of the following areas: cloud security, platform and application security, infrastructure security, fraud and cyber security, data security and cryptography
