Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Introducing and establishing a holistic approach for proactive performance and capacity management for the SAP system landscape
• Resource capacity management (monitoring, analysis), business capacity management (trend forecasting), service capacity management (monitoring, tuning) of SAP and HANA database
• Making recommendations and fine-tuning SAP/HANA parameters 
• Closely coordinating with the experts from the respective area internally/externally
• Coordinating and moderating project meetings, workshops and presentations for internal/external stakeholders 

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• A degree with a focus on information technology or a comparable course of study
• Good understanding of the scalability properties of the IT resources (CPU, memory, networks, (low-level) locking)
• Good understanding of the SAP system architecture, underlying infrastructure and influence of the database architecture on scalability
• Experience working in an international environment and in collaborating closely with cross-functional tech and business teams (internal/external) 
• Willingness to learn about the scalability requirements of various business processes
• Strong communication skills and fluent business English
