ALDI SOUTH IT ensures that everything runs smoothly, from the IT infrastructure to the software used: both at national and international level. Within the scope of transnational projects, our teams develop IT solutions for worldwide use at ALDI SOUTH. In the Customer Interaction team, you always have the customer in mind. You are familiar with e-commerce solutions and the use of online tools comes naturally to you. You will develop digital “must-haves” for various apps or websites and thus ensure an excellent online shopping experience for our customers.

<h3 class="jd">Your Tasks</h3>

  • Planning and implementing software tests in the area of content & asset management 
  • Creating test plans, test cases and test data requirements as well as selecting appropriate test methods 
  • Creating automated tests and integrating these into the deployment pipeline 
  • Implementing automated and manual test cases and analysing test results 
  • Overseeing the test phases as well as the analysis, classification and elimination of system malfunctions 
  • Documenting the current status of testing and reviewing the quality of new releases 

<h3 class="jq">Your Profile</h3>

  • A university degree or similar qualifications (apprenticeship) with the main focus on IT
  • Sound knowledge of test frameworks such as JUnit
  • Experience in working with Java-based content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager (Version 6.4 or later) 
  • Very good knowledge of test concepts, tools and methods
  • Ideally, certified as ISTQB tester and experience with agile software development
  • Agile mindset and persuasiveness as well as very good English language skills
