About the position 

The STORES area develops, optimises and manages our IT store systems worldwide. We are looking for a charismatic and experienced IT Manager with leadership experience to lead an interdisciplinary IT team. The team is responsible for ALDI SOUTH’s international electronic shelf label solution and plays a central role in shaping the future of our stores. In your position, you will coordinate and be responsible for the ESL IT service (hardware and software) and coach your team on their way to continuously further developing the solution. Together you have the chance to bring ALDI SOUTH significantly forward.

<h3 class="jd">Your Tasks</h3>

  • Leading and developing an agile interdisciplinary product team (Project Manager, Feature Owner, QA Analyst, Developer, Operations Manager)
  • Assuming responsibility for the operation and further development of our global ESL solution 
  • Assisting in additional innovative projects together with your team throughout all relevant stages – from the proof of concept to the rollout
  • Coordinating the cooperation with functional and technical teams as well as external partners
  • Acting as contact partner for important stakeholders – from our product teams to executive management

<h3 class="jq">Your Profile</h3>

  • University degree with a focus on (information) technology or business administration
  • Several years of professional experience in international IT project management as well as in (agile) software development or experience in managing complex projects
  • You enjoy managing and developing employees
  • You are flexible and assertive with sound diplomatic skills
  • You have the ability to think in a structured and conceptual way and can act independently with authority and a competent demeanour at all times
  • Fluency in English
