ALDI SOUTH IT ensures that everything runs smoothly, from the IT infrastructure to the software used: both at national and international level. Within the scope of transnational projects, our teams develop IT solutions for worldwide use at ALDI SOUTH. As an SAP expert, you will play a key role in the implementation of ALDI SOUTH’s IT strategy and in one of the largest SAP implementation projects in the retail industry. You will develop global templates, implement software, monitor interfaces and liaise with all stakeholders.

<h3 class="jd">Your Tasks</h3>

  • Within the scope of our international project, we are successively introducing new systems in all warehouses worldwide. 
  • In doing so, we need support, particularly in requirements engineering to improve our international software solutions
  • Specifying the design, interfaces and technical solutions for the following systems (warehouse management software): warehouse management (Manhattan WMOS), supplier enablement (Manhattan EEM) and operational supply chain intelligence (Manhattan oSCI)
  • Coordinating and designing new requirements with the business/IT departments and our external service providers

<h3 class="jq">Your Profile</h3>

  • University degree or other relevant qualification/training with a focus on IT
  • Very good German and English language skills and a strong willingness to travel
  • Professional or project experience in requirements analysis (requirements engineering, e.g. IREB) for warehouse management systems and logistics processes
  • Strong ability to analyse, describe and optimise operational processes
  • Experience in classic and agile project methods
  • Desirable: experience in using Manhattan WMOS, Manhattan EEM or Manhattan oSCI
  • Desirable: knowledge in the area of IT integration for transport management, ERP and warehouse management systems and the relevant integration technology
  • Desirable: experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Confluence, Jira
