ALDI SOUTH IT ensures that everything runs smoothly, from the IT infrastructure to the software used, both at national and international level. Within the scope of transnational projects, we develop IT solutions for worldwide use at ALDI SOUTH.
This is where we, the WM Deployment team, come in. Our team consists of eleven technical experts and Project Managers who are passionate about ALDI SOUTH and warehouse management. We are an international team and together we master the challenges of the largest transformation project of our company’s history. We are currently setting up our new warehouse management systems in order to roll them out worldwide. For this, we need your help.

<h3 class="jd">Your Tasks</h3>

  • Participating in our international project to introduce new warehouse management systems (WMS) in our global distribution centres
  • Acting as a contact person and expert with regard to the functions of our WMS solutions
  • Coordinating and steering the installation of our WMS solution within the scope of the globally defined template
  • Managing the entire project cycle of warehouse projects: documenting the local requirements, providing support for the configuration, testing the configuration as well as assuming responsibility for the cutover and hypercare support
  • Closely cooperating with international business and IT teams in Europe, the USA and Australia as well as external service providers

<h3 class="jq">Your Profile</h3>

  • University degree with a focus on information technology, engineering or business administration
  • Experience with WMS, ideally with Manhattan WMOS
  • Experience in implementing warehouse logistics projects and a keen interest in IT-supported processes in warehousing
  • Several years of professional experience in international project management, ideally in the area of warehousing
  • Creative, solution-focused, flexible, assertive with sound diplomatic skills
  • A confident and competent demeanour at all times
  • Committed team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Very good English language skills
