ALDI SOUTH IT ensures that everything runs smoothly, from the IT infrastructure to the software used: both at national and international level. Within the scope of transnational projects, our teams develop IT solutions for worldwide use at ALDI SOUTH. In the Customer Interaction team, you always have the customer in mind. You are familiar with e-commerce solutions and the use of online tools comes naturally to you. You will develop digital “must-haves” for various apps or websites and thus ensure an excellent online shopping experience for our customers.

Your Tasks

  • Defining standards and guidelines for incident and problem management 
  • Supporting our agile teams in proactively identifying, analysing, prioritising and documenting incidents (3rd level) 
  • Advising the specialist teams on the application of methodical techniques of root cause analysis 
  • Acting as the single point of contact for escalation management and interacting with relevant stakeholders (e.g. business departments and test, change and release management) 
  • Increasing the overall quality of service by creating best practices  

Your Profile

  • Degree with a focus on information technology or several years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of web applications, web technologies, system architectures and interfaces 
  • Extensive knowledge of operation and maintenance concepts, tools and methods 
  • Good knowledge of ServiceNow and JIRA as well as practical experience in ITIL incident and problem management processes 
  • Very good English language skills
