Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Analysing and evaluating current internal ALDI applications and IT infrastructure
• Providinge technical consultation regarding the scope of IT application/system decommissioning
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify infrastructure needs
• Assisting in the integration of new applications and services into the existing infrastructure
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hosting services and best practices
• Documenting processes and maintaining updated records of configurations and changes
• Conducting training sessions for staff to optimisze the use of internal applications
• Helping to identify needed retention data and help to prepare required reports on the target platform

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or a related field
• Proven experience and background related to retail IT applications (technical understanding)
• Strong knowledge of databases, networking and cloud hosting solutions
• Familiarity with processes and tools related to application integration
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities

Desirable extras.

• Experience with enterprise-level IT solutions
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, networking certifications)
• Previous experience in the retail or grocery industry is a plus
