Your Job
What you give your best for.
- Supporting the sourcing, tendering and selection of suitable logistics technology providers for warehouse automation projects from an IT perspective
- Designing international standards for various Warehouse Control Systems and the Warehouse Management System (Manhattan WMOS) in an automation context
- Ensuring that standards will be used in multiple automation projects as well as defining suitable strategies and solutions
- Encompass the design, build and test of these projects from an IT/integration point of view
- Collaborating with internal and external IT teams to ensure successful project implementation; functioning as the communication hub between international IT departments and corporate logistics teams
- Analysing and determining (IT) processes for existing and future warehouses
- Participating in process, quality and cost optimisation for logistics concepts and their implementation
Your Profile
What you should have.
- University degree(s) in the field of computer science, logistics, supply chain management, automation technology and/or mechanical/industrial engineering
- Relevant warehouse automation experience (IT, IT consulting, technical planning, integration WMS/WCS and/or warehousing)
- Experience with warehouse management systems and/or warehouse control systems, advance skills also beneficial
- Ability to build trust, enabling the management and influencing of stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in project management
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to undertake international travel (approx. 10–30% of working time, currently no travel)
What is desirable.
- German knowledge
- Experience with the warehouse management system Manhattan WMOS
