The Stores area creates the technical basis for efficient store processes by using the latest technologies. Our customers will be able to see the results of your work first-hand in all ALDI SOUTH stores worldwide. Our processes are increasingly moving to mobile devices to provide store associates with the most up-to-date hardware and software support. To facilitate this strategic focus, we are continually expanding our current team of experts. The “Stores Administration” Product Line is responsible for ensuring a functional and resilient IT infrastructure in all ALDI SOUTH stores worldwide and is constantly improving our IT capabilities. 

Your Job

What you give your best for.

  • Assuming a role within an international, Agile and cross-functional team that is responsible for an internally developed IT solution 
  • Working hand in hand with the Product Owner to translate store requirements into specifications and user stories and pass them on to the Product Team 
  • Collaborating with the Product Team to identify areas for optimisation and ensure that team processes are efficient 
  • Advising the Product Team on the prioritisation of upcoming developments and taking ownership of the demand process 
  • Focussing your efforts on designing a robust and scalable product 
  • Proactively considering possible causes for disruptions to reduce vulnerability of the solution 
  • Ensuring smooth operation of the solution through sustainable incident management 

Your Profile

What you should have.

  • Enthusiasm for influencing the future of discount retail shopping 
  • Acting as an interface between the business and IT, you are familiar with both worlds and you communicate equally well with developers and business colleagues alike 
  • Very good analytical and strategic skills and experience with requirement analysis 
  • Experience working as part of an Agile team 
  • Target-group-oriented communication skills
  • Very good English skills
