Your Job

What you give your best for.

  • Being part of one of biggest retail IT transformations worldwide and rolling out our global solution to new warehouses worldwide
  • Gathering requirements for new functionalities in our Manhattan WMS system
  • Modelling and coordinating implementation of new requirements across the business, international IT departments and external service providers
  • Preparing and changing interface specification and design documents, as well as technical solutions for the following systems (warehouse management software): warehouse management (Manhattan WMOS), supplier enablement (Manhattan EEM) and operational supply chain intelligence (Manhattan oSCI) systems
  • Testing new solutions and demands
  • Cooperating with external partners to ensure continuity of our Warehouse Management System

Your Profile

What you should have.

  • University degree or other relevant qualification/training with a focus on IT or Logistics
  • Deep understanding of warehousing processes and technical challenges for WMS
  • Hands-on experience in the retail business
  • Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap
  • Hands-on experience in creating blueprints or solution designs and in configuring Manhattan WMOS
  • Expertise in analysing, describing and implementing improvements in warehouse processes
  • Expierience with change management, application maintanance processes and  test management
  • Experience in complex multiplatform logistics enviroments containing ERP <-> TMS <-> WMS
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to travel


What is desirable.

  • German language knowledge 
  • Experience using ITSM tools such as e.g. ServiceNow, Confluence, Jira 
  • Experience in testing tools like HP ALM
  • Experience in agile project methodology
  • Experience in any SAP technologies (e.g. SAP MM, SD, WM, EWM, TM)
