Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Introducing new or enhanced services for our digital products by creating end-to-end experiences across all relevant touchpoints and devices
  • Closely working with service designers to understand the macro-level service design and enrich service blueprints with concepts in line with business requirements
  • Collaborating intensively and continuously with multiple teams, including Product, User Research, Data Analytics and Strategy teams, in order to optimise concepts
  • Assuming a key role in holding design and discovery workshops for our future solutions
  • Using design tools to create concept sketches, user flow diagrams, low-fidelity wireframes, storyboards, prototypes and interaction specifications for our services across various markets
  • Crafting, documenting and communicating scenarios (hypothetical users), end-to-end experiences, interaction models and early wireframe ideas to your colleagues, the design community, project experts, business owners and other stakeholders
  • Developing conceptual ideas into concrete designs, taking into account brand identity and business strategy 
  • Ensuring consistency in the design of our business operations in order to optimise the overall customer experience offered by ALDI

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • Completed studies in the field of media design, human-computer interaction or other media-oriented fields of study, as well as confidence using Figma 
  • Experience in the design of customer-oriented systems or services and in dealing with UX/UI elements as well as knowledge of how to develop customer journeys and user flows
  • Ability to design new services that are outlined and, if appropriate, presented in detail to customers
  • Ability to create multiple design iterations and prototypes based on data and feedback from stakeholders
  • Ability to facilitate workshops as well as good communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence to successfully work in a fast-paced agile environment as well as the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects 
  • A high degree of initiative, team spirit and conflict management skills

 

Desirable extras.

  • Experience using Jira or similar tools to track and prioritise tasks, ensuring timely delivery and proper alignment with project goals
  • Problem-solving skills and the motivation to drive projects forward in the daily business operations
  • Exhibiting excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to effectively foster a collaborative and empathic team approach
