The IT systems at ALDI SOUTH are currently undergoing global transformation, for which our international experts are developing innovative IT solutions within the scope of cross-border projects for worldwide use across our business operations.
As a member of our experienced international Enterprise architecture team, you assume joint responsibility for the definition of an integrated and future-oriented architecture – strategically and technologically – across all business and IT areas.

Your Job

What you give your best for.

• Coordinating and developing target architectures for the Logistics area and cross-departmental roadmap planning
• Working together with the business teams on the business architecture incl. maturity analyses (via business capabilities) and optimising business processes along the “Purchase to Pay” and “Demand to Fulfil” end-to-end processes
• Supporting project roadmap prioritisation with business architectures and strategies
• Steer Solution Architects by relevant target architecture, roadmaps, blueprints and general strategic guidance to ensure architecture direction can be followed
• Joint responsibility for developing IT architecture principles & guidelines as well as the concept and further development of IT architecture management to ensure state-of the-art enterprise and IT architecture
• Advising the business project teams, developing joint solution blueprints and supporting the software selections
• Supporting the expansion of the international architecture community at ALDI SOUTH and preparing decision-making documents for senior management

Your Profile

What you should have.

• University degree or similar qualification (apprenticeship) with a focus on information technology, business administration or engineering
• Several years of professional experience in the field of enterprise architecture/IT strategy development 
• Experience in complex transformation and integration projects
• Quick perception, analytical thinking, as well as strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of transportation management systems (e.g. SAP TM) and of warehouse management and ERP systems (e.g. Manhattan WMOS, SAP S/4 HANA).
• Knowledge and practical experience in architecture frameworks and/or methods (e.g. TOGAF, BIZBOK, BPMN)
• Very good English language skills
