We are expanding our Data Protection team and are looking for ambitious, experienced specialists for ALDI International Services. Our job is to advise and support our specialist departments, mainly International IT, in order to ensure data compliance not only in our company, but for ALDI SOUTH worldwide. Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Advising internal specialist departments and international project teams on data protection matters, particularly within the area of new technologies such as the use of artificial intelligence (AI)
  • Independently creating data protection concepts and decision papers
  • Providing support with the pragmatic implementation of the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and other international data protection requirements
  • Creating, checking and negotiating contracts related to data protection (e.g. data processing, joint controllership) 
  • Designing and conducting training sessions on data protection in German and English

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • University degree in computer science, business informatics, law (first or second state examination in law), commercial law, business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally relevant professional experience in data protection
  • Strong comprehension skills for finding pragmatic solutions in complex structures
  • Ability to explain data protection requirements to the target group
  • Very good German and English language skills

 

Desirable extras.

  • Certification as a data protection officer or comparable further training
