Your Job

What this role looks like.

  • Focusing on transportation management and supply chain issues and using reports and KPIs to support operations for inbound and outbound movements, e.g. road, rail and ocean freight 
  • Assuming a project lead role for assigned projects, which involves acting as the primary point of contact and driving project timelines, milestones and deliverables 
  • Collaborating with ALDI stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs as well as translating these requirements into actionable analytics solutions 
  • Collaborating with other subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify the necessary fields in SAP to be used in the transportation management reports 
  • Applying data-based insights from the interactive dashboard to provide new enhancements for our current and future solutions for domestic inbound, domestic outbound, international inbound and strategic freight procurement products 
  • Implementing and participating in rigorous data validation and quality control processes through testing to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data used in reporting and analytics 

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

  • Degree or similar qualification with a focus on business administration or supply chain management
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Tableau, with the ability to provide feedback and suggestions to other stakeholders  
  • Experienced in using MS Office products, especially PowerPoint and Excel, as well as knowledge of SharePoint, Confluence and Jira 
  • Affinity for numbers as well as diplomacy and analytical thinking skills
  • Good communication skills when dealing with international stakeholders 
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
