<h3 class="jd">Your Tasks</h3>

  • Guides DevOps squads on speed of delivery, improving quality/security of code, and optimizing processes
  • Mentors and coaches DevOps colleagues
  • Leads systematic capability building for DevOps community, in coordination with GDA People & Skills
  • Engages hands on with squads to develop solutions and solve pressing technical problems
  • Provides the team a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices for higher code quality
  • Identifies bottlenecks in coding development and deployment processes 
  • Leads improvement initiatives for code quality / standardization, process efficiency and/or reliability

<h3 class="jq">Your Profile</h3>

  • Excellent coding and scripting skills (Bash, Perl) and experience with implementing high-scale cloud architectures using modern, cloud-based container platforms (PaaS/SaaS)
  • Working knowledge of deployment automation solutions (i.e., Gitlab, DevOps, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (esp. Azure) and cluster management tools like Kubernetes
  • Experience with containers such as Docker, OpenShift and continuous integration and related tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Git, Sonar, etc.
  • Experience as a DevOps or SRE Lead on a cross-functional agile team
  • Strong communication skills with ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions
  • Active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and maximize the team’s potential
